- XXL Rooms/Lofts on the ground floor overlooking the flowered courtyard and large living space, lounge, dining area, kitchen/bar coworking space Spacious lofts between 15 and 19m² with direct access to the flowered courtyard, for those who love spacious living. Starting 995 € / month.

Unleashing Potential with Poetry and Environmental Awareness
For our project
- For our project, we had the privilege of collaborating with our Architect, a renowned architect with over twenty coliving projects completed in the Paris region. His vision has revealed the potential of this old artist’s studio, offering a refined and poetic design. The project highlights beautiful high ceilings, uses niches and the atypical layout to create cozy, friendly spaces.
- our Architect brought the outdoor gardens inside with winter gardens, making the whole space more inspiring and harmonious. The design considers the richness of daily activities: exercising, eating, reading, sleeping, working, gardening, chatting, cooking, and socializing. Each detail contributes to awakening the genius loci of the place, making the experience unique for each resident.
- Special attention has been paid to ecological aspects. We reused as many existing materials as possible, sourced quality furniture, and implemented efficient heating and consumption systems. Thanks to these efforts, the carbon impact of the project has been minimized.

With homes in various city neighborhoods, we believe in our ability to make a positive difference. Often, we purchase large buildings in poor condition and
completely renovate them using as many ecological materials and processes as possible.- We also love to give objects a second life. Our homes readily welcome second-hand and refurbished items, adding an extra soul to our interiors while decorating more sustainably.

density and designing each space more efficiently, our residents benefit from
exceptional facilities like a gym, a cinema room, and even a coworking space. - We also strongly encourage our members to recycle their waste and reduce overall consumption to help address current environmental issues.

Who can join Maison Orteaux?
- Anyone who shares the values of Maison Orteaux: respect, kindness, and friendliness. An interest in our yoga classes and gardens is a plus, but the mostimportant thing is your smile and good mood, which are essential to join this highly sought-after place!
Am I eligible for APL (housing aid)?
- Yes, your coliving space is compatible with APL and other housing assistance.
What is the minimum stay?
- For everyone’s comfort and because we want to create a community, the minimum stay is 6 months, although shorter stays may be discussed based on availability. This also aligns with Paris’s policies to have residents rooted in the area and sets us apart from a hotel
How much is the deposit?
- In addition to the monthly rent, we ask for a deposit equivalent to 1 month rent, which we return when you leave the accommodation, subject to rental conditions.
What’s included in the rent?
- Beyond just living and connecting with an open-minded community, your rent includes: basic supplies, a monthly brunch, a fully furnished room with a private bathroom, spacious and beautifully decorated common areas, a tech-friendly environment (Netflix, Canal+, WiFi, etc.), all utility costs (electricity, water, heating, insurance, etc.), weekly cleaning of shared spaces, monthly events, and, most importantly, new friends!
Why do I need a phone interview before booking?
- The community aspect is a key part of the coliving experience at Maison Orteaux, and we place great importance on how each member will fit into the house they join. With this in mind, the phone interview helps us find the best home for your preferences and personality, ensuring the best stay possible.
How do I book?
- We’re delighted that you want to join our community!
The first step is to apply online to check room availability. If we have a room available for your desired date, you can book a quick call with our Community Manager to help find the perfect spot within our network.
After finalizing your stay details (location, room type, etc.), we’ll ask you to send the necessary documents to verify your identity and solvency. Then, you can tour your home (virtually or in person after a pre-booking) and sign your lease online. Once the deposit, first month’s rent, and administrative fees are paid, your room is officially reserved!
Is coliving eco-friendly?
- Congratulations if you want to experience coliving and coworking! In addition to sharing great moments, you also share the home, allowing for shared resources—a big step towards reducing the ecological impact compared to living alone in a home heated solely for oneself.
As we move towards a carbon-neutral future, sustainability is at the heart of our actions. The house is equipped with energy-saving heating and durable appliances. Most of our furniture is sourced second-hand, giving it a second life. We emphasize energy cost reduction through dedicated tools in each home.
Are pets allowed?
- Unfortunately, for everyone’s comfort, pets are not allowed at Maison Orteaux.
Are events organized?
- Yes, we organize a monthly event to encourage interactions and conviviality between residents. Usually, they take the form of a monthly brunch included in the rent! Yoga sessions and themed workshops are also part of our program, available to book with our community manager.
